The Scuderia Ecosse team will be hoping that the promise of warmer conditions at the southern French circuit of Nogaro this weekend, will boost their chances of scooping maximum points from Round 8 of the FIA GT Championship
The team has pulled out all the stops to ensure that the car is in peak race condition as the season draws towards its conclusion in November. During a busy few weeks back at team HQ, Car 62 has been updated to 2008 specification and will be using a new engine for the Nogaro event.
As the team’s trucks rolled out of the Scuderia Ecosse HQ, team principal Stewart Roden commented, “ We have been struggling for some time with lack of performance from an engine which is down on power. This weekend we have a new engine, we have new upgrades on the car, and Pirelli have put in a lot of hard work to the development of new tyres. I believe the car is now capable of reaching its full potential, and we are looking for a good result at Nogaro”.
Keep right up to date with the Team’s progress this weekend with the extensive TV coverage now being offered during the 2008 season.
