Scuderia Ecosse FIA GT Championship

The organisation is slick and the show is exciting. Every race promises lots of overtaking, driver changes, pit-stops and strategy changes. There is a lot to see and a lot to enjoy.

The FIA events continue to run to the new two-day format in 2009 and the races themselves are now all two-hour sprint races, apart from the legendary Spa 24 Hours which continues in itís traditional guise. Along with new technical regulations, it is now mandatory for each car to have two pit-stops and two driver changes in each race.

The 2009 season kicks off at the legendary British circuit, Silverstone before heading to off to Europe and some of the most exciting race circuits in the world. The series has two categories: GT1 which comprises cars such as the Aston Martin DBR9 and the Corvette C5R; and the fiercely competitive GT2 class for cars like the Scuderia Ecosse Ferrari 430s with continued pressure from the fast charging Porsche 997.
